About Us

We are a young couple in our twenties who began breeding out of a love for dogs.  I am a pre-veterinary student currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in animal biology before I move on to Veterinary school at University of Florida.  When we decided that we were ready to support a dog of our own--which is obviously a big decision--we had that typical couple discussion--I wanted a little dog, he didn't want a girly, ankle biter that I was going to dress up in pink boots & a matching sweater.  :) After a lot of research we compromised and picked out the Shiba Inu.  We had never actually even seen this dog in person, it was just a compromise in size and we read great things about the disposition of the shiba.  We found a breeder that we felt comfortable with and we had our 10 week old red sesame shiba shipped in from Iowa.  It was love at first sight.  After having him for just a few days, we realized how perfect the breed was.  Our puppy was so curious and playful, so we wanted to get him a playmate for when he was at work.   When searching for puppies one day, we saw an adorable wrinkled Chinese Shar-Pei and decided to do some research on that breed.  We ended up finding a reputable breeder a few hours away and went and picked up our new miniature shar-pei, Freddy.  After falling in love with two dog breeds that aren't as common as your typical labrador or chihuahua, we decided to begin breeding so that others around us could experience the irresistable temperaments and personalities of the breeds we loved so much!

Our number of breeds and dogs has now expanded considerably as we have come to know and love many more unique breeds of dogs.  Our dogs are not kenneled or caged.  They are either kept inside or allowed to be outside in groups in big fenced in areas of our yard.  The only time kennels or pens are ever used in our home are when a dog is nursing with puppies to give her an area that we can be sure she is left alone by other dogs.  Every pregnant or nursing mom is kept in the house, usually in our room, so that they are sure to be given around the clock extra care.  Your puppy from us will come to you presocialized, with registration paperwork, first shots, and will be healthy and happy.  We are confident in the fact that our selective breeding will produce healthy puppies with good genes.  Because of this, each puppy comes with a one year health guarantee to protect against genetic disease.  Please feel free to let us know if You have any questions or concerns. Before you buy a puppy, it is important to ask as many questions as you can possibly think of so that you are one hundred percent certain that you are going to be satisfied and able to care for your new family member.  Because of experience, we have become very knowledgeable about the breeds we have, so please feel free to ask questions, even if you aren't currently looking for a puppy! We'll be happy to help. Our home is also always available for tours, so that you can see where and how our dogs our raised and care for. As soon as a puppy is born, it is available for reservation & as soon as you put a puppy on hold we will begin to send you frequent updates, pictures and videos of your new baby!

Hope to hear from you soon!
